Narakkal (Njarakkal)is situated in Vypeen (Vypin)island of Ernakulam district with an area of 18.4 Ha.Production depends on the introduction of quality seed from other sources. An Integrated Disease Management System (IDMS) has been implemented on experimental basis in collaboration with CUSAT.An Aqua Tourism also  attracted by tourists

From Ernakulam city, High-court junction take a bus to njarakkal hospital junction or Narakkal arattuvazhi kadal puram bus.It will be charged around 5.30 -7 INR
By Car:
From Ernakulam city, High-court junction take the way through GoShree  bridge to Paravoor or Munambam root. stop when you reach  njarakkal hospital junction then turn left to Narakkal arattuvazhi kadal puram bus root .Go straight untill you see FishFarm Left side of the Road
